Mooivallei farm is in Bonnievale and has a co-op with a several specific farms. They pool all their cream together as it is very difficult for one farm to produce enough to make butter. They only use cream from these farms thereby ensuring its traceability and that they are majority grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free. It's churned in the age-old tradition, using Jersey cream to give a velvety texture and rich colour. Mooivallei's butter is incredibly creamy and delicious. (Their butter is made from pasteurised cream.)
